Description
Flappy Bird Clone is a simple yet addictive 2D arcade-style game inspired by the original Flappy Bird. The player controls a bird that must fly between sets of pipes without crashing. The gameplay focuses on precise timing and quick reflexes, offering a fun and challenging experience as the difficulty increases over time with tighter gaps and unpredictable pipe patterns.

My Contributions

  • Created a scrolling parallax background and ground to simulate forward movement.

  • Developed an infinite pipe spawning system with randomized vertical gaps to keep gameplay dynamic.

  • Implemented player controls using spacebar to make the bird flap upward with responsive jump physics.

  • Added a scoring system that increments as the player successfully passes through pipes.

  • Built a main menu with a restart option for quick replayability.

  • Handled collision detection and death logic to reset the game flow.
